Resarch – New ways into the future of telemedicine

In supplying the population in rural areas with telemedicine, various technical problems have to be solved. This applies in particular to the lack of network coverage and the challenge of integrating different medical devices into a telemedicine system.

As part of a ProFIT-funded research project, the GHC is developing the necessary solutions both for emergency medical care and for standard GP care in rural areas.

The X-INTEGRAL research project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the State of Brandenburg.
